Bridge the Gap

Bridging Hope

At New Day Ministry, we are dedicated to creating a brighter future for individuals and families facing financial hardship. We understand that life's challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we are here to provide support and guidance every step of the way. Our Bridging Hope Initiative is multifaceted and designed to empower low-income individuals and families by offering a range of essential services and resources. We partner with other dedicated organizations to create a robust network of support for our community. Here's an overview of the additional services we offer.

We are committed to fostering hope, resilience, and self-sufficiency within our community. Our Bridging Hope Program is a testament to our dedication to creating a brighter, more equitable future for all. Together with our partners, we empower individuals and families to overcome obstacles and build a more stable and prosperous life.

Transportation Assistance

Transportation is a vital component of daily life, and we understand that rising fuel costs can place a significant burden on low-income individuals and families. Our transportation assistance program helps eligible participants by providing financial support in two ways. We offer auto fuel gift cards to ensure they can maintain reliable transportation to work, medical appointments, and other essential activities.

In addition to auto fuel gift cards, we provide bus fare assistance. We recognize that not everyone has access to a personal vehicle, and public transportation is an essential lifeline for many. As part of our commitment to supporting individuals and families in need, we offer bus fare to those who rely on buses for their daily commute.

Emergency Temporary Shelter

Emergency Temporary Shelter (Motel Payments)

As winter's chill sets in, we understand the importance of a safe and warm haven for those who may not have a stable place to call home or are going through the  challenging process of recuperation. New Day Ministry steps in to bridge this gap by offering short-term motel accommodations, allowing seniors and families with children to find solace and relief from the elements.

Our organization is fueled by a commitment to community well-being, kindness, and the belief that every person deserves a warm, welcoming place to recover and heal. We work tirelessly to ensure that seniors, parents, and their little ones have a temporary sanctuary where they can regain their strength and dignity.

Through our emergency temporary shelter program, we provide financial assistance for short-term temporary motel stays for seniors and families with children experiencing homelessness and facing imminent eviction or convalescing during winter, contingent upon the availability of funds. We also work closely with local shelters and transitional housing providers to help those in need access a secure place to stay.
