Volunteers Needed

Please consider volunteering your time and sharing your expertise and life experiences with those who will benefit from your generosity. New Day Ministry of Bremerton, Washington, is a nonprofit organization working to provide meals and other forms of assistance to our community members who are hungry and in need.
We accomplish this service to our local community through the help, generosity, and devotion of our volunteers. We welcome volunteers to help us at our weekly dinners. You can assist in many ways, including:
  • Serving Food
  • Cleaning Up
  • Preparing and Cooking Food
  • Greeting and Seating
  • Sorting Pantry Items
  • Organizing Clothes

We are in need of items for our monthly distribution of personal hygiene products for the homeless and low-income individuals in our community. These items can be found at The Dollar Tree Stores. The shampoos can be found at Fred Meyer Stores for 79 cents.

Definition: "Civil adjudication proceeding" is a judicial or administrative adjudicative proceeding that results in a finding of, or upholds an agency finding of, domestic violence, abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment, violation of a professional licensing standard regarding a child or vulnerable adult, or exploitation or financial exploitation of a child or vulnerable adult under any provision of law. "Civil adjudication proceeding" also includes judicial or administrative findings that become final due to the failure of the alleged perpetrator to timely exercise a legal right to administratively challenge such findings. RCW 43.43.830*** New Day will conduct background checks on each applicant using Washington State Patrol, WATCH (Washington Access to Criminal History) system. Applicants will be notified of Washington State Patrol’s response. New Day Ministry will also provide a copy of this response to the applicant. ***
